POSITION OVERVIEW:
Independently develops and/or supervises the development of highly complex, unique designs or sustainability components. Incumbent is recognized as an industry expert in the field and is widely acknowledged by industry peers through his/her publications or presentations.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as a manager-level technical consultant. Creates enhanced technical solutions to meet client and/or regulatory requirements and actively seeks improvements to work processes.
Participates in business development activities, including proposal submittals with knowledge of the sustainability components and formal client presentations. Recognizes importance of customer satisfaction as a means of fostering future business development with energy related companies.
Assists clients in preparation of RFQs and RFPs for project services. May perform in a technical leadership role, providing technical direction to others in project facilitation and prepare direct access offerings.
Job Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of work experience in sustainability related fields (utility management, energy auditing, electrical system plan review, recycling programs, alternative fuels and others).
Minimum of 2+ years in utility companies, utility regulatory agencies, USGBC, schools, government buildings, healthcare facilities.
Must have two or more of the following certifications: CEM, CEA, CPM, LEED AP, EE.
